Baul poet Radharman Dutt was born in 1240 BS in Atuajan Keshabpur of Jagannathpur police station in Sunamganj district.
His fathers name was Radhamadhav Dutt and his mother was Subarna Devi.
His father was a great Sanskrit scholar.
Radharman lost his father in childhood.
In 1275 BS he married Gunmoyi Devi, daughter of Nandakumar Sen Adhikari of Adpasha village under Moulvibazar Sadar police station.
Radharman Dutt lost three of his four sons prematurely and his wife also died.
In this situation he became very frustrated and left the family.
Raghunath Bhattacharya, a devotee of Dheupasha village in Moulvibazar, left home and established an ashram in a forest at Naluwar Haore near his home.
There used to be a lot of fanfare.
Radharman used to perform kirtan day and night with his parishad team.
Most of his songs were composed there.
He died in 1322 BS.
He is buried in Keshabpur village.
